Our Financial Policies

As a concierge-level practice, Northeast Women’s Psychiatry does not not contract with any insurance companies directly. The practice accepts payment for services directly from patients. This allows your provider to devote the time, expertise, and the highly personalized care you deserve.

Some insurance companies have out-of-network benefits that may provide reimbursement for some of the costs of out-of-network psychiatric services, which will pay a portion of the cost of psychiatric services after you have satisfied your plan's deductible. If you plan to use this benefit, it is advised that prior to your first appointment that you check with your insurance plan to confirm the availability of out-of-network benefits on your plan and the portion of expenses covered.

The practice is happy to provide you with a receipt with the required information you will need as you submit any necessary forms to your insurance company, sometimes referred to as a "superbill."

Once you submit your paperwork to your insurance plan, any reimbursement the company provides you will be sent directly to you. Northeast Women’s Psychiatry does not submit any claims directly to insurance companies. If you file a claim with your insurance company, they may access confidential information about you. This may include diagnosis, severity, treatment plan, and any other information the company determines is relevant. Insurance companies may require this information prior to initiation of treatment and may determine the number and type of sessions they will cover and the reimbursement they will provide.

The hourly fee for your first visit is $450 and is paid upfront.

Thereafter, the fee for 30 minute follow-up integrative health psychiatry visits is $250 paid upfront.
